In some of your marketing materials you say that your products are ‘cheaper to ship…easier to store’. Why is that?

Due to government regulations, stringent safety guidelines and environmental compliance costs, it can get very expensive to ship and store combustible, hazardous solvents with high volatile organic compounds and hazardous air pollutants. Aero-Green’s non-combustible, toxic free products contain no hazardous materials as defined by the EPA, making them safer and easier to ship and store.

What kind of special hazardous training and protective gear are needed to utilize your products?

Aero-Green Specialty Cleaners are very user-friendly. There’s no need for special hazardous training, or protective gear to use our products. We do recommend that you wear goggles and gloves when using our products with high-powered washers.

What kind of adverse health issues can I suffer from prolonged exposure to VOC’s?

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids. VOCs include a variety of chemicals, some of which may have short and long-term adverse health effects. Some symptoms might include eye, nose, and throat irritation; headaches, loss of coordination, nausea; damage to liver, kidney, and central nervous system. VOC’s can cause cancer in animals; some are suspected or known to cause cancer in humans.

How were Aero-Green products tested to confirm they allow for a 95% reduction in VOC’s?

By replacing solvents such as: MEK, MIBK, toluene, lacquer thinners, mineral spirits and Naphtha’s that have 100% VOC  ranging from  500-1500 g/L, we’ve reduced our VOC from 500-1500 g/l to 47 g/l, that’s a 95% reduction in VOC’s.

Aero-Green products are certified to Clean Air Solvent (CAS) eligibility determination by SCAQMD Method 313-91.  All analyses were performed on the products, as received. There were no VOHAP, ODC or GWC detected. The reactivity of the compound detected is below the MIR value of toluene. The VOC is estimated to be 47 g/L. The VOC composite partial pressure is estimated as < 1 mm Hg. Based on the dilution (1:2) as stated on the Analysis Requested sheet, the VOC is 15g/L. Conclusion: The product meets CAS criteria.

Our facility is beautifully landscaped. When we use your products, how concerned do we need to be about harming the vegetation?

You don’t need to be concerned at all. All Aero-Green Specialty Cleaners are non-toxic, water soluble, non-combustible, and very eco-friendly. They won’t harm your grass, shrubs, flowers, trees, or any other vegetation on your property.

Does your Aero-Green 4110 Paint Prep Cleaner work on solvent based paints as well as water-based paints?
Yes, the 4110 Paint Prep Cleaner works for both.

The quality of available water at our location to dilute your products with is questionable. Will this have any impact on the effectiveness of the diluted cleaner?

No. The only time that de-ionized water is required is in the cleaning of parts made of titanium. Tap water can cause the development of black spots on the titanium due to the salts in the water. 

We use de-ionized water in our products to ensure that we can offer a one year manufacturing warranty on the product without fear of sediment, crystals, or fallout in the formulations.
